Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the conditions of use, rights, and obligations between zoomonie LABs (hereinafter referred to as the "Team") and users in relation to the reCree service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" refers to the K-content fan travel information platform provided by the Team through the recree.io website.
  2. "User" refers to any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  3. "Member" refers to a User who has registered an account with the Service.
  4. "recreeshot" refers to a feature that allows Members to upload photos taken at K-content-related locations to verify their visits.
  5. "Content" refers to all information posted by Members within the Service, including text, images, and reviews.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms take effect upon being posted within the Service.
  2. The Team may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws and will provide notice within the Service at least 7 days prior to the effective date of any changes.
  3. Members who do not agree with the amended Terms may withdraw from the Service. If a Member does not express objection within 7 days of the notice, the Member shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Membership Registration and Accounts)

  1. Membership registration is completed when a User agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and signs in through a Google account.
  2. Each Member is limited to one account, and no one may register using another person's identity.
  3. Members are responsible for managing their account information and may not transfer or lend their account to any third party.
  4. The Team may refuse registration or restrict use in the following cases:
    • Use of another person's identity
    • Submission of false information
    • History of violating these Terms

Article 5 (Description of Service)

The Team provides the following services:

  1. Viewing information on locations related to K-content such as K-POP and K-Drama
  2. Location search, saving (bookmarking), and map-based exploration
  3. Uploading recreeshot verification photos
  4. Other features additionally provided by the Team

Article 6 (Modification and Suspension of Service)

  1. The Team may modify or suspend the Service and will provide advance notice whenever possible.
  2. The Service is currently provided in beta. Features may be changed or temporarily suspended without prior notice.
  3. The Team shall not be liable for any damages arising from the modification or suspension of the Service, which is provided free of charge.

Article 7 (Obligations of Users)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

  1. Unauthorized collection, storage, or posting of another person's personal information
  2. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order through the use of the Service
  3. Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service or undermine its stability
  4. Posting false information or content that causes discomfort to others
  5. Unauthorized commercial use of the Service
  6. Infringement of intellectual property rights of the Team or any third party

Article 8 (Rights and Responsibilities Regarding Content)

  1. The copyright of Content posted by a Member on the Service belongs to that Member.
  2. By posting Content on the Service, the Member grants the Team a non-exclusive license to use such Content within the scope of the following purposes:
    • Displaying, storing, and reproducing the Content within the Service
    • Utilizing the Content for Service promotion (e.g., social media sharing, thumbnail generation)
    • Data analysis for Service improvement
  3. If a Member deletes their Content or withdraws from the Service, the Team will delete the Content within a reasonable period. However, the Team is not obligated to delete copies that have been shared or separately saved by other Users.
  4. Members bear legal responsibility for the Content they post.

Article 9 (Copyright Protection and Infringement Reports)

  1. The Team respects the copyrights of Users and encourages Users not to infringe upon the copyrights of others.
  2. Due to the nature of K-content, Content uploaded to the Service may include copyrighted materials of third parties, such as celebrity photos or scenes from dramas and films. The Member who posted such Content is responsible for any copyright issues that arise.
  3. Copyright holders or persons who believe their rights have been infringed may report to the Team with the following information:
    • Name and contact information of the reporter
    • Description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
    • Location of the infringing Content within the Service (URL, etc.)
    • A statement that the Content infringes on copyright
  4. Reports can be submitted to: recreekr@gmail.com (or through the in-service reporting feature)
  5. Upon receiving a valid report, the Team may make the Content private or remove it, and may restrict the use of the Service by Members who repeatedly infringe on copyrights.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Team makes no warranties of any kind regarding the Service, which is provided free of charge, except to the extent required by applicable law.
  2. The Team shall not be liable for any disruption in the use of the Service caused by reasons attributable to the User.
  3. The Team shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, or other aspects of information, data, or facts posted by Users on the Service.
  4. The Team shall not intervene in disputes between Users or between Users and third parties, and shall not be liable for any resulting damages.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. In the event of a dispute between the Team and a User regarding the use of the Service, the parties shall endeavor to resolve the matter through mutual consultation.
  3. If consultation fails, the competent court shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
