About reCree

From screen to Korea. Recreate the scene.

reCree connects the K-content you love to real places in Korea — from dramas and films to K-pop, variety shows and creators’ videos. Find the place behind a scene, plan a recreetrip with fellow fans, and recreate the moment your way.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Find the scene

Every post pins one moment to one real place: which video or post it came from, the timestamp, what happened there and where to find it.

  2. Step 2

    Plan your recreetrip

Save the spots you like and arrange them day by day on a map. Start from scratch or copy a recreetrip another fan already made.

  3. Step 3

    Recreate the scene

Stand where they stood, take the photo, and share it next to the original. Other fans can see how close you got.

How we keep places accurate

A wrong address ruins a trip, so every place on reCree goes through the same checks before and after it is published.

  • Sourced. Each post links the original video or social post the scene comes from, with the timestamp when there is one.
  • Matched to real listings. Places are matched to their Google Maps, Kakao Map and NAVER Map listings, so the map buttons open the exact place, not a search.
  • Checked every day. An automated check compares our places with all three maps and flags closures, moves, renamed shops and changed addresses.
  • Reviewed by people. Safe fixes, such as filling in missing opening hours, are applied automatically. Anything that needs judgment goes to an editor first. The date of the last check is shown on every place.

Photos, videos and credits

Videos and posts are embedded from where they were first published, and photos are credited to the people who took them. If you own something shown here and want it changed or removed, contact us and we will act on it.

Questions

Is reCree free?
Yes. Browsing, saving places and building recreetrip are free. A few shop posts link to products; affiliate links are marked as such.
Do I need an account?
Browse public scene previews and fandom rooms freely. Sign in with Google to open member places, build your recreetrip, join conversations and share recreeshots.
Is reCree connected to the artists or their agencies?
No. reCree is an independent fan service. We link to the original posts and credit the people whose photos and videos we show.
A place has closed or moved. What should I do?
Tell us through the contact page. Our daily check usually catches it too, and an editor confirms the change before it goes live.
