In episode 3 of King the Land, Sarang (Im Yoona) was promoted to 'King the Land,' the VVIP lounge and core area of King Hotel, and filmed promotional photos for the hotel in front of this Heart Tree.

In the same episode, Guwon (Lee Junho) returns from a business trip to Jeju and begins to directly pursue Sarang, leading to an ending where he is shocked to learn she has a boyfriend while trying to give her a gift — an episode where their feelings truly begin to intertwine.

The Heart Tree is located within the forest to the right of Sonokam Jeju's 2nd-floor outdoor garden. Its branches naturally form a heart shape. If you stand on the provided footrest and point your camera towards the sky, the sky will be framed in a heart shape between the branches. It looks most beautiful when a clear blue sky fills the heart on a sunny day.

Non-guests can also enter for free, making it a great spot to stop by for a quick photo during a Jeju trip. It's also connected to Olle Trail Route 4, making it easy to include in a trekking itinerary.

How to go: Enter the West Tower building, take the elevator to the 2nd-floor Outdoor Garden, then follow the signs towards the forest on the right. There's a photo zone sign, so it's not hard to find. A wooden footrest for taking photos is installed on-site. Sonokam Jeju parking is available.
